At OPSCN, we bring our mission to life through a dynamic portfolio of innovative, community-centered programs. These initiatives are designed to inspire environmental stewardship, empower communities, and drive sustainable development across Nigeria. We focus our efforts through four core thematic areas: Environmental & Energy Conservation, Community Sustainability, Sustainability Education for Sustainable Development, and Sustainable Business—creating lasting impact for people, planet, and prosperity.
Environmental and Energy Conservation
Our Environmental and Energy Conservation initiatives aim to improve Nigeria’s ecological balance and reduce our carbon footprint through strategic and enterprise-driven solution
Environment 360 - Program
Forest Carbon & Biodiversity: We work to increase forest carbon and biodiversity by reforesting and protecting degraded landscapes using enterprise-based approaches.
Clean Energy Solutions: To reduce individual and community carbon emissions, we produce, market, and distribute culturally-appropriate, fuel-efficient biomass cookstoves and non-tree biomass fuels.
Resource Recovery: We promote the extraction and reuse of resources from municipal solid waste, farm residues, wastewater, and excreta. This includes providing incentives for source separation and the collection of waste for recycling.

Community Sustainability
EcoVillage - Program
We support the creation of sustainable, resilient rural communities through an integrated, enterprise-based model. This approach addresses core human needs—such as food, energy, water, and income—while preserving the natural ecosystems in which these communities live and thrive.
Sustainability Education
Green Schools Initiative
We nurture environmentally conscious future leaders by establishing Eco-Green Clubs in schools. These clubs engage students in sustainability issues, encourage active problem-solving, and inspire real-life changes to make their schools more sustainable.
Career & Technical Education (CTE)
We empower young people with vocational and business education through CTE Clubs. These programs promote self-employment and entrepreneurship, while also providing access to startup loans and tools necessary for sustainable livelihoods.
Business Sustainability
Good to Great
This program enhances the sustainability and social impact of small businesses and entrepreneurs. We provide targeted support, including grants, training, equipment, and direct management assistance.
The Business Hub
To reduce operational costs for startups and small businesses, we offer flexible workspaces with access to key business services—such as administrative support, IT infrastructure, and professional meeting rooms—all with no fixed overhead costs.
Workforce Sustainability
Focused on improving occupational health and safety in small business environments, we conduct worksite risk assessments and promote health and safety awareness through targeted outreach and education.
